As you may have heard by now, Jim Wilson: the originator of The Gazette and founder of Jimworld, passed away in early May, 2003, following an 18 month battle with heart disease. | The SEO/SEM World: Just to let you know... We're back! Jim's illness had the unfortunate effect of some stagnation in the Web sites and forums. Well, there's a new sheriff in town. I loved Jim like a brother (and a father), and will faithfully continue operations of his network as Jim would have done. JimWorld will carry on, with a fervor that I hope will make Jim proud. We're going to set new trends, blaze new trails, and turn the SEO and SEM world back on course. The era of misinformation, conflicting reports, and bad advice is over. It could have been said yesterday that JimWorld was old-school and had nothing to offer. Well, boys and girls, JimWorld University has been remodelled and is open for registration. We're still old-school in terms of our morality, ethics, and mission, but we're also modernizing and updating our content, streamlining the forums, and organizing the best team in the world to ensure that JimWorld will be the first, and last, word. |

This "Scumbag of the Week" article is irresponsible. I had not trouble at all in receiving the following response from SpamArrest:

We never do such a thing and its completely against our ethics! We hate spam as much as you do and so, along with stopping it, we make sure that none of our customer's emails are noted as spam. We warn our customers from sending bulk emails about the fact that their contacts might misunderstand their bulk emails as spam and will turn against them and Spam Arrest. A company following only such healthy practices can never do such a thing like spamming. What we value the most is our customer's trust and we will make all efforts to retain that in the best way possible. We never admit your personal information to any third party under whatsoever circumstances. You will find a whole lot of misleading things like this in Internet, James. We have friends and foes like anyone else in this planet.

In the 3 years that I have used SpamArrest, I personally have never received one complaint from anyone that has been 'spammed' from any theoretical 'spam list' that SpamArrest may have created. I think that their statement above makes it clear that they would not do this.
I behooves you to publish a retraction.
