SUMMARY:Community Building Workshop (CBW) in Latvia (PUBLIC)
DESCRIPTION:How do we treat our fellow human beings in a way that is good for us and others? How can we build sustainable relationships and be resources for each other? What does it take for living together to be successful? \n\n\n\n\n\nThe “Community Building” workshop is an answer to these questions. With the help of Scott Peck’s conversation recommendations\, participants learn to communicate authentically. You learn to listen more deeply\, to overcome personal obstacles when meeting others\, to shed your shells and to venture out with everything that is there – worries\, anger\, joy\, hope. \nOver the course of the three days\, the encounters change noticeably: away from chaos towards real togetherness\, towards a community that is characterized by exceptional security and deep respect. Differences are then no longer experienced as threatening\, but rather as enrichment – according to Scott Peck\, this is the key to peace. \nThis experience of community has transformative power – far beyond the workshop. \nParticipants learn: \n\nListen more carefully and be more present in your family\, friends and work circles\nTo meet differences with respect and to overcome them\nRecognize your own obstacles and let them go\nBreak through isolation and loneliness and establish real connection\nCommunicate authentically\nDiscover and use your own resources\n\n\n\nNote: Only individuals above the age of 18 can participate.\nDate/Time: June 07\,  Friday: 9:00 – 18:00; June 08\, Saturday: 9:00 – 18:00; June 09\, Sunday: 9:00 – 17:30 \n\n\nLocation: Aleksandra Čaka iela 67/69\, Rīga\, LV-1011\, Latvija \nCosts: \nEarly Bird (until May 12th): 180€\nRegular: 220€\nSupporter of Community Building: 250€\n\n\nDiscounts available for students and the retired.
