SUMMARY:The Art of Connection – Budapest [CBST]
DESCRIPTION:“You cannot truly listen to anyone and do anything else at the same time.” \n/ Dr. M. Scott Peck \nWHO IS THIS FOR?\nThis training is for you if.. \n– You miss the experience of emotional closeness\, OR you want to experience it more often\n– You are interested in self-awareness\, and prefer a hands-on training format over long psychology lectures\n– You feel stuck in social isolation OR even though you DO have relationships\, something feels missing and you feel lonely\n– You’re fed up with superficial\, false connections OR you’re craving real\, deep connection\n– You don’t currently have a community where you feel truly held OR you miss the experience of being accepted without judgment\, just as you are\, and really being seen. \nWHAT WILL YOU LEARN?\nDuring the group process\, you will experience the dynamics and functions of the four stages (‘Pseudo-community’\, ‘Chaos’\, ‘Emptiness’\, and ‘True Community’) based on Dr. Scott Peck’s Community Building method. This method shows how a group can reach the experience of ‘true community’ by moving through these four stages. \nThis process can also help you recognize which stage you’re currently in within a particular life situation or relationship. By gaining this insight\, you will learn how to express your own needs and how to give feedback to others in a way that can truly be heard. \nDuring the three-day training\, you’ll receive specific\, practical guidelines for creating authentic presence\, emotional closeness\, and an unusual sense of safety. The experiences and tools from this training can be applied immediately in your personal relationships. \nThrough practice\, in REAL-LIFE situations\, you can… \n– …develop your emotional intelligence (to better understand WHY you and others struggle to find common ground) \n– …hone your skills for mutual understanding and acceptance \n– …achieve and maintain authentic connections with the people that matter most to you \nWHO LEADS THE TRAINING?\n– The lead facilitator of the training is Edward Groody [US]\, founder of Community Building International\, head instructor for professional training in this method. Edward worked alongside Dr. Scott Peck (founder of the method) for 20 years and has over 20 additional years of experience in organizational development\, training and facilitation. Edward is currently one of the most experienced and authentic living facilitators of Dr. Peck’s method who is still actively leading processes. \nWHAT TO EXPECT?\nThe training alternates between:\n– Experiential exercises (in pairs and small groups)\n– ‘Circle time’ sessions\, where you will be able to put the newly learned principles into practice with other participants in real-time. The group will collectively participate in a 3-day group process designed to lead you toward experiencing ‘True Community’—the core goal of Dr. Peck’s method. \nLANGUAGE\n– The training will be conducted in Hungarian with simultaneous English interpretation (by a trusted interpreter who has extensive experience with the method and has worked with us for years). The training is open to both English and Hungarian speakers—our groups usually include a mix of local and international participants. \nDATE & TIME\n24th October\, Friday | 9:00 AM –\n26th October\, Sunday | 5:00 PM \nLOCATION\nLáng Cultural Center\n(3-minute walk from Forgách Street Metro station)\nBudapest\, Rozsnyay Street 3\, 1139.\nGoogle Maps link \nFEE\n310 – 400 EUR (contact organizers for F. I. T. price) \nREGISTRATION\n\nPLEASE REGISTER HERE \nCONTACT\nBencze Attila – Lead Organizer \nMobile: \n+36 30 938 0640   \nEmail: \nattila@koridoben.hu

SUMMARY:Community Building Workshop in Warsaw (PUBLIC)
DESCRIPTION:The CBW Classic is the original workshop format developed by Dr. Peck with a focus on experientially learning and experiencing Community Building guidelines and principles for personal\, spiritual and professional growth. \nThe CBW involves a group process aimed at deeper\, more authentic communication. Using a set of guidelines and principles rather than an agenda or particular procedure\, participants are gently guided by specially trained facilitators who take the group through a process that shows how to look beyond the cultural\, political and religious differences that prevent us from embracing our common humanity. During a CBW\, the ultimate goal of the group is to experience a deeper level of being in community.
