To learn more about these programs\, please click here.  \n\n\n\nThis Is What Will Happen During The Global Circle:\n\n\n\n\nFacilitators will do a brief introduction and review the purpose of our time together.\n\n\n\nWe will share our name\, where we were born\, where we live now\, and commit toconfidentiality.\n\n\n\nWe will review the guidelines and how Circle Time is a little different than the 3-day workshop.\n\n\n\nWe will then have 3 minutes of silence where you have time to think about what you will share.\n\n\n\nDuring the silence\, reflect on these questions:\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat are you feeling right now? What you feeling deeper under the surface?\n\n\n\nWhat is going on with you? What is going on in your life? What challenges are youfacing? How are you feeling about yourself and your life?\n\n\n\nWhat would you like for others to know about you?\n\n\n\nIs there anything you want to let go of and leave in the circle?\n\n\n\n\n6. After 3 minutes of silence\, you will be asked to speak if you are moved to speak. \n\n\n\nGuidelines for Communication\n\n\n\n\nUse “I” statements. Speak about yourself only.\n\n\n\nSpeak when moved to speak. Do not speak when not moved to speak.\n\n\n\nDo not fix others\, i.e.\, do not console\, teach\, preach or give advice.\n\n\n\nLeave time for Silence before and after someone speaks.\n\n\n\nBe mindful of how much time you speak. Allow time for others to share.\n\n\n\n\nNOTE: The facilitators may be more interactive than usual and offer suggestions and instructions due to our limited time together. \n\n\n\nThe Global Circle will be conducted in English. We expect to offer translation in the future. If you do not speak English\, you are still welcome to be in the circle and soak up the CB experience.The Global Circle will last 1 hour 15 minutes. DESCRIPTION:Community Building Workshops (CBWs) utilize powerful principles and practices originally developed by M. Scott Peck MD\, renowned author of The Road Less Traveled. Workshops create powerful trust and bonding experiences for groups and teams; improve inter- and intrapersonal skills; and lead to personal and professional development. This process has many practical applications in business and improving outcomes in human service and criminal justice programs. \nPeck discovered 10 guidelines for communication that can restore community and create group trust and safety. Participants have the opportunity to learn and practice the 10 guidelines and experience a powerful Community Building process that leads to personal and professional growth. \nParticipants routinely describe Workshops as “truly unique” and “life changing.” Corporate executives call them the “next generation of team building.” Criminal justice and human service professionals see Workshops as highly compatible with Motivational Interviewing\, Restorative Justice\, Mindfulness Training\, and Trauma Informed Care. \n__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ \nDATES: Friday\, January 19 to Sunday\, January 21. This is a three-day workshop. Scott Peck MD renowned author of The Road Less Traveled. Workshops create powerful trust and bonding experiences for groups and teams; improve inter- and intrapersonal skills; and lead to personal and professional development. This process has many practical applications in business and improving outcomes in human service and criminal justice programs. \nPeck discovered 10 guidelines for communication that can restore community and create group trust and safety. Participants have the opportunity to learn and practice the 10 guidelines and experience a powerful Community Building process that leads to personal and professional growth. \nParticipants routinely describe Workshops as “truly unique” and “life changing.” Corporate executives call them the “next generation of team building.” Criminal justice and human service professionals see Workshops as highly compatible with Motivational Interviewing Restorative Justice Mindfulness Training and Trauma Informed Care. \n__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ \nDATES: Friday January 19 to Sunday January 21. This is a three-day workshop. DESCRIPTION:Need a dose of peace and connection? Dip into the pool of Community. Every month a global circle of fellow Community Builders. One and a half hours. Please register to attend. For CBW and/or Art of Connection: CBST alumni only. To learn more about these programs\, please click here.  \n\n\n\nThis Is What Will Happen During The Global Circle:\n\n\n\n\nFacilitators will do a brief introduction and review the purpose of our time together.\n\n\n\nWe will share our name\, where we were born\, where we live now\, and commit toconfidentiality.\n\n\n\nWe will review the guidelines and how Circle Time is a little different than the 3-day workshop.\n\n\n\nWe will then have 3 minutes of silence where you have time to think about what you will share.\n\n\n\nDuring the silence\, reflect on these questions:\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat are you feeling right now? What you feeling deeper under the surface?\n\n\n\nWhat is going on with you? What is going on in your life? What challenges are youfacing? How are you feeling about yourself and your life?\n\n\n\nWhat would you like for others to know about you?\n\n\n\nIs there anything you want to let go of and leave in the circle?\n\n\n\n\n6. After 3 minutes of silence\, you will be asked to speak if you are moved to speak. \n\n\n\nGuidelines for Communication\n\n\n\n\nUse “I” statements. Speak about yourself only.\n\n\n\nSpeak when moved to speak. Do not speak when not moved to speak.\n\n\n\nDo not fix others\, i.e.\, do not console\, teach\, preach or give advice.\n\n\n\nLeave time for Silence before and after someone speaks.\n\n\n\nBe mindful of how much time you speak. Allow time for others to share.\n\n\n\n\nNOTE: The facilitators may be more interactive than usual and offer suggestions and instructions due to our limited time together. \n\n\n\nThe Global Circle will be conducted in English. We expect to offer translation in the future. If you do not speak English\, you are still welcome to be in the circle and soak up the CB experience.The Global Circle will last 1 hour 15 minutes. Those people interested may stay online longer. \n\n\n\nAbout the Virtual Zoom Platform\n\n\n\n\nDon’t worry about how to work ZOOM.
