SUMMARY:Community Building Workshop (CBW) in Milwaukee
DESCRIPTION:Community Building Workshops (CBWs) utilize powerful principles and practices originally developed by M. Scott Peck MD\, renowned author of The Road Less Traveled. Workshops create powerful trust and bonding experiences for groups and teams; improve inter- and intrapersonal skills; and lead to personal and professional development. This process has many practical applications in business and improving outcomes in human service and criminal justice programs. \nPeck discovered 10 guidelines for communication that can restore community and create group trust and safety. Participants have the opportunity to learn and practice the 10 guidelines and experience a powerful Community Building process that leads to personal and professional growth. \nParticipants routinely describe Workshops as “truly unique” and “life changing.” Corporate executives call them the “next generation of team building.” Criminal justice and human service professionals see Workshops as highly compatible with Motivational Interviewing\, Restorative Justice\, Mindfulness Training\, and Trauma Informed Care. \n__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ \nDATES: Friday\, January 19 to Sunday\, January 21. This is a three-day workshop.
