Module 1: The Next Step: Introduction to Community Building Facilitation
  • Bratislava, Slovakia, 9am to 7pm each day.
  • Pre-work/Access to Facilitator Manual and Document Portal on 14 October.

March/April 2025

Module 2: Key Facilitations: How & When to Intervene

  • Location to be determined. 3 Days, 9am to 7pm.

  • Pre-work on 1 February.

17 November 2024

Module 3: Community Building Skills Training (CBST) Facilitator Training & License
  • Bratislava, Slovakia, 9am to 6pm.
  • Pre-work/Access to Facilitator Manual and Document Portal on 14 October.

March/April 2025

Module 3: Community Building Skills Training (CBST) Facilitator Training & License
  • Location to be determined.
  • 2-Days, 9am – 6pm.

Oct./November 2025

Module 4: Practical Applications of Community Building – Tools & Methods
  • Location to be determined.
  • 3-Days, 9am – 7pm.

Note that full attendance at live Modules is required for completion and certification. Missed modules can be made up at later dates. Modules are offered at least 1-2 times per year over a  3-year period.

    1. Read and complete the registration/application form below. If applying for a scholarship, please also fill out this form, along with your registration form below.

2. We will contact you to schedule a zoom call. During the call we will explore your interest and goals for the program, answer questions, finalize your registration, cover payments, scholarship applications, etc.

3. Once you are registered you will receive pre-work assignments and information about next steps.

The Eligibility Requirements
As part of our mission to bring peace, belonging and Community to the world, we are focused on certifying and equipping individuals to bring our renowned Community Building workshops and trainings to everyone, everywhere.  It is essential that applicants are aligned with CBI’s mission and vision – and a fit for success in the program. Genuine Community is inclusive – we also want to be clear about who is a match for training & certification. Please review the criteria for participation in the training program below:

  1. You have attended at least one CBI Community Building Workshop (CBW) and/or one CBI Community Building Skills Training (CBST) prior to the start of the training program.
  2. You have a strong personal desire or calling to help people experience the peace, connection, belonging, healing, safety, and respect of genuine Community.
  3. You have a strong personal commitment to personal and professional growth & development.
  4. You commit to attend four training modules over a 2-3 year period (Modules are offered on multiple dates); participate in occasional zoom webinars; and serve on team at live workshops as a co-facilitator in training.

Guarantees
Becoming a certified CBI Community Building Facilitator is a wonderful milestone and we look forward to welcoming you to our global Facilitator community. It is important to know however, that acceptance to the program does not guarantee that you will be certified/licensed.  In order to successfully complete the program you must:

  • Fully attend all modules.
  • Complete required assignments, webinars, and CBWs and CBSTs,
  • “Be on team” as a co-facilitator in training during live workshops.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in CBI Community Building content, skillful facilitation, and the competencies that are part of the CBI Facilitator Levels of Certification.

Licensing

One of the benefits of participation in the Facilitator Training Program is being eligible to receive a license to use CBI’s copyrighted quality materials, content, and methods. It is important to understand that there are ongoing licensing fees for using certain CBI workshop materials.

Costs

The entire 2-year program costs 4900€. Payment plans, scholarships, work exchange available. Community Building International is committed to providing training to all individuals with sincere interest and commitment to spreading the experience and vision of peace and Community.
