Deep Dive 2-Year Advanced Program

Personal healing & growth for those individuals wishing to:

  • Take a deep dive into Community Building
  • Be a part of an ongoing Community group and kindred spirits
  • Help share and spread the peace, belonging and connection of Community with others
  • BUT do not desire at this time to be a facilitator.
The program includes four modules:
  1. Module I: Introduction to the Community Building process and facilitation
  2. Module II: Key interventions and dynamics
  3. Module III: Community Building Skills Development. Community Building Skills Training (CBST) vs. Community Building Workshop (CBW).
  4. Module IV: Practical Applications of Community Building with youth, business, government, ngo programs, healthcare, criminal justice, human services, religious communities.

 

The program also includes these no-cost optional opportunities:

  • Free weekly webinars on a variety of Community Building and personal and spiritual growth topics.
  • Being on team as a “shadow co-facilitator” to experience Community Building from the facilitator perspective.
  • A balance of theory, lecture, experiential exercises and circle time.
  • In-depth manuals and handouts for each training module.
  • Cross-cultural Community Building trainings and gatherings across Europe and the United States.
  • Two coaching sessions and a personal development plan per year with a CBI Senior Facilitator or Trainer.
  • Free attendance at all Community Building Workshops (classic version) and Community Building Skills Trainings (CBSTs).
  • Access to CBI Website portal with Community Building training resources.
  • Two Year CBI Membership. Free attendance at CBI’s Annual meeting held in Europe or the USA (note meal and site cost may apply).

  • Pre-work on 1 February.

Module 3: Community Building Skills Training (CBST) Facilitator Training & License
  • Bratislava, Slovakia, 9am to 6pm.
  • Pre-work/Access to Facilitator Manual and Document Portal on 14 October.

March/April 2025

Module 3: Community Building Skills Training (CBST) Facilitator Training & License
  • Location to be determined.
  • 2-Days, 9am – 6pm.

Oct./November 2025

Module 4: Practical Applications of Community Building – Tools & Methods
  • Location to be determined.
  • 3-Days, 9am – 7pm.

Note that full attendance at live Modules is required for completion and certification. Missed modules can be made up at later dates. Modules are offered at least 1-2 times per year over a  3-year period.

2. We will contact you to schedule a zoom call. During the call we will explore your interest and goals for the program, answer questions, finalize your registration, cover payments, scholarship applications, etc.

3. Once you are registered you will receive pre-work assignments and information about next steps.

Eligibility Requirements

As part of our mission to bring peace, belonging and Community to the world, we are focused on certifying and equipping individuals to bring our renowned Community Building workshops and trainings to everyone, everywhere.  It is essential that applicants are aligned with CBI’s mission and vision – and a fit for success in the program. Genuine Community is inclusive – we also want to be clear about who is a match for training & certification. Please review the criteria for participation in the training program below:

    1. You have attended at least one CBI Community Building Workshop (CBW) and/or one CBI Community Building Skills Training (CBST) prior to the start of the training program.
    2. You have a strong personal desire or calling to experience the peace, connection, belonging, healing, safety, and respect of genuine Community.
    3. You have a strong personal commitment to personal growth & development.
    4. You commit to attend four training modules over a 2-3 year period (Modules are offered on multiple dates); participate in occasional zoom webinars; and serve on team at live workshops as a co-facilitator in training.

Copyright, Licensing

One of the benefits of participation in the DEEP DIVE Program is being eligible to access CBI’s copyrighted quality materials, content, and methods. DEEP DIVE participants receive a limited license to use certain CBI materials. It is important to understand that there are ongoing licensing fees for using certain CBI workshop materials.

Costs

The entire 2-year DEEP DIVE program costs 3,900 €. Payment plans, scholarships, work exchange available. If applying for a scholarship, please also fill out this form, along with the registration form.
